I must admit I'm a novice when it comes to motors and this is my first boat.

Never had much of a problem starting but was left at the dock before fishing yesterday. Cranking but no turnover. Boat was out last 3 weeks ago without any issues. Primer bulb wouldn't stay hard and while cranking it seemed fuel was leaking into the water somewhere from the lower unit but I couldn't see where. Not sure what to look at first. Motor was tuned with new plugs about 18 months ago.

I'm assuming it was turning over if it was "cranking". Did you mean not starting?

From your description it sounds like you might have a broken/split fuel line somewhere. Take off the cowling (on the trailer) and give the fuel hose a pump, and see where the fuel is going

check fuel lines and also check to see if the carb bowls are leaking...also you may have a float stuck open on the carb..and raw gas going thru the system...

if you see now fuel leaks from carbs or fuel lines...most likely you have a float not sealing shut

Someone recommended that the float was probably stuck and that I should give it a little "manual jolt." Does that sound like a possible solution or a good way to mess things up? Obviously as mentioned, I'm a newbie.
