The horn in my 97 Merc 60 hp tiller started going off intermittently last year. It usually started after I was going for 15 minutes or more. I replaced the Impeller and hose but it kept coming on earlier and now pretty much stays on continously from a cold start. I don't think it's an overheat problem since I changed the impeller and you can hold your hand in the tell tale water spout and it's just warm. I think the only other thing connected to it is the oil warning module. It definitely uses oil. Do you know of a way to test if it's the horn, temp sender, or oil sender?
It would normally beep only when starting or if it was low on oil.
How can I isolate this?

Thanks Pier.
