Everything you do in life costs you money.

Which is not a good reason to sit at home and be miserable.

Life is meant for living and you, your girl and that sunset.... livin!

I don't need a reason to own a boat other than I want it!

The Lund I have now I brought home while the wife was at work and didn't know it was coming home. Impulse purchase! Along with the fact that it was a deal I couldn't pass up. Wife did ask "what the h3ll is that", and "what are you going to do with it?" It was a project when I bought it. No motor, trailer was all rusty, carpet/deck needed to be replaced.

Today I show her bigger ones in the same condition the Lund was in and she just says "if that's what you really want then buy it!"
Just last year she caught her 1st bass on a rubber worm and I will remember the look on her face until the day I die! We were on the boat when it happened.

Thats a good point too. If I am going to work my life away so other people can tell me how to spend my money then why don't I just have the paycheck made out to them?
Had a bit of a blow earlier in the week... $900 to replace the floor. I don't have a place to do it so I think I need to pay to get it done. I thought about it for a while and realized... Its worth that for sure! once I get the compresssion checked in the motor I won't have any problem putting a little money into ol' blue lightnening!

I catch fish with my boat, so I get all my money back.

I figured it up a while back and between all the fishing tackle, bait, and boat gas the fish only cost me $56/lb.

... but it's against the law to sell gamefish here in 'Bama so eating the ones I eat is priceless!
