I picked up a small container of 405 west system filler. Will it work with Polyester resin?

Thanks

What's the ingredients? Typically it's an epoxy filler.

That's kinda what I thought. Cellulose and walnut flour will make it susceptible to water penetration when used with Poly. Not so with epoxy. Not saying you can't use it, just that using it just like Bondo uses Talc, makes it not as waterproof as if you used cabosil.

Thanks again Wood! I'm not going to mess around with it then. I will use the glass bubbles I have until I get more cabosil.

Glad to get something done today. All the wind and rain has made it difficult lately. Started tabbing in the stringers.

Need help locating a rub rail for the Aerocraft. I have looked at Taco and few others online without luck. Either just the rubber insert or a completely different setup, any ideas?

Your work is looking great. I know what you mean about the weather. Had a 3 day weekend and it rained 2 of the 3 days.

JBC gave you some great advise on the deck thickness. It's great to have gentlemen here to help with these things.

Even though you don't want jasoutside around with a grinder or a sawzall, He sure does come up with some great plans and ideals.
Might be a good ideal to have him around when in the rebuild stage.:D

Thanks Deck! ya dodging the weather for sure, but I am confident I can get the stringers done and the deck on in the next week or two then wrap it up for the winter.

One thing is for sure I wouldn't be where I'm at without the help of all the good folks sharing their knowledge!!!! Matter of fact I wouldn't be doing it at all. Yup JBC Wood Jas and many others make this FUN!!

Thursday I was able to get the first layer of 1708 down on the 5 strings up about the first 4 feet. The peanut butter made with glass bubbles and chopped stran looks carpy I should of cleaned it up better.
