Altus Trim & Tilt

I was scanning Craigslist the other day when I found a Altus Trim & Tilt unit for sale. Too bad someone beat me to it.

Seemed like a neat little unit. I've been wishing my '78 Starcraft and Merc 85 had power trim, but haven't wanted to spend the $600 for the units I've seen out there.

Anyone heard of these before? Are there other units out there like this that I should be aware of while looking though the for sale ads?

I have an altus 135, that was made in 1982, I now have to replace the tilt and trim motor and found that the company is now panther - http://www.marinetechproducts.com/p...ory=237137&mode=category&offset=0&sort=normal. This is a great product, I purchesed my tilt and trim product user about 2 yrs ago and considering the age this is an alsome product.
