Re: Anyone as Stessed Out as I am??

Stress and Anxiety can also be caused by life's trials and tribulations. Some people experience the worse that life has to offer at a younger age than others do. At times where coping skills are not fully developed or there are things that happen in which the mind is not equipped to handle--ever. Shocks to the system can do you in one time or can accumulate to do you in. Your nervous system can become much more sensitive. So if can be a physical change that no one can see. Everybody is different when it comes to what bothers them. Everyone is different in coping skills. You get many that come back from wars and go back to normal life unfazed by what they saw and experienced in battle. Then you have those that experience PTSS--as one example. I have seen some Cops quit the Police force because of shock to the system experiences. What I find very ignorant is those that lack the compassion and understanding for human suffering you don't understand. You hear it all the time--I really didn't know what mental anguish he or she was going(or care) through until this terrible thing happened to ME......Now I feel like a complete azz for the way I responded at the time.

hey DC, I think most of us responded thinking your "stress" was nothing more than the average person faces everyday. folks handle everyday stress in a variety of ways.

looking at your last post, it seems you may have some serious issues you need to tend to. seriously don't come to a website for real help. None of us is qualified to help from an online location. Best we can do is give an adda boy or tell you to "suck it up cupcake"
there are tons of places you can turn to with real answers for you should you need that.

I've had more than a couple friends and relatives handle their stress in a very "permanent" fashion. it is never the answer, and as one colleague of mine used to say, it's very selfish. it only transfers the pain to your family.

if you are a veteran, VA has lots of information available for you. If not there are places to start for free counseling or maybe just someone to talk to so you know you're not alone.

here is a link to a group I have worked with a little bit. great folks.

The heck with the money/stress. I could live just fine under the bridge. Some people prefer it.

I think that I got a little 'stressed out' over the weekend . . .

The company that I work for is involved with fund raising and we were having our annual telethon . . .

Usually we set up about 100 'old style' phones for the callers to use. I am in charge of the technology for the company, and recently we have been phasing in 'high tech' phones. Well, this year the technology did not work . . . causing lots of chaos during the event.

. . . stupid technology stuff . . . :yell:

Exactly! I am still doing pretty good here too. But the more money I make, the more they take. I had a good year last year but sales are down this year

Same here. Here is my biggest stressor: 2013 Chaparral 370 Signature Cruiser - Boat Builder
Load it up with every option and that's been my tax bill so far this year for good measure toss in one of these Escalade Luxury SUV | Cadillac. You might notice my sig boat is 18 feet and 10 years old and my newest vehicle is an 07. Angry doesn't begin to capture my feelings for the current situation of being taken to the cleaners.

I wasn't referring to the members that responded to this thread. Just talking about people I have met in the "real" world.

Wow! Taxes went up on last years income. Put people in different tax brackets. That is just terrible! I would have a really hard time writing that Check, if I could write that check, which I can't. I don't see how everything can go up in a recession. Just a drag on the economy

Yep, I keep less than the government gets from my wife and I. Most folks will not realize it ever but taxes skyrocketed for 2013, both federally and here in MN. We keep less than 50 cents on the dollar not including property taxes. At least in Canada they get health care for less tax burden.

All I can say is wow!!!!

More of the big companies are being fined. Chase Bank--$13 Billion. SAC plead guilty-- $2 Billion. In the beginning Enron went down. Many of these people should be going to Jail. Fines are pocket change to them. We have to be able to trust that our Investments are being artificially manipulated because a crooked house of cards will fall once again. History not learned from is destined to be repeated. This is about Wall-Street and the Banks costing the American people Trillions of dollars and lost jobs. Along with Jobs leaving the Country for cheap labor. Lots of pain and suffering going now because of it. Insider trading and risky investing ETC:

I think the answer to your original question is probably NO.
