Something to consider: <br />If you are ready for the adventure of a lifetime, TRY THIS.<br />Enter Mexico illegally. Never mind immigration quotas, visas, international law, or any of that nonsense.<br /><br />Once there, demand that the local government provide free medical care for you and your entire family.<br /><br />Demand bilingual nurses and doctors.<br /><br />Demand free bilingual local government forms, bulletins, etc.<br /><br />Procreate abundantly.<br /><br />Deflect any criticism of this allegedly irresponsible reproductive behavior with, "It is a cultural U.S.A. thing. You would not understand, pal."<br /><br />Keep your American identity strong. Fly Old Glory from your rooftop or proudly display it in your front window or on your car bumper.<br /><br />Speak only English at home and in public and insist that your children do likewise.<br /><br />Demand classes on American culture in the Mexican school system.<br /><br />Demand a local Mexican driver license. This will afford other legal rights and will go far to legitimize your unauthorized, illegal, presence in Mexico<br /><br />Drive around with no liability insurance and ignore local traffic laws.<br /><br />Insist that local Mexican law enforcement teach English to all its officers.<br /><br />Good luck! You'll be demanding for the rest of time or soon dead. Because it will never happen. It will not happen in Mexico or any other country in the world except right here in the United States.<br />Land of the naive!

why would i try that when i can stay here and pay taxes and have less healthcare and support all the other ppl who ?? :eek: :eek: ,,dont ,, does,, dose cervasa count as me being bilingual ?? :D

Painting all Hispanics with a pretty broad brush, aren't you?<br /><br />Our local (legal and illegal) immigrants don't do any of the stuff you are talking about. They work hard at menial jobs, accomodate local customs, learn English, send money to their relatives and in general contribute to the local economy and culture. They sure as heck give an employer more for his/her money than anglos who are willing to take the same jobs.<br /><br />I have no doubt that there are people demanding . . . whatever. . . and that is danged annoying, but it is being done mainly by leftist politicians and activists.<br /><br />It is grossly unfair to imply that all Hispanic immigrants are that way, legal or not.

Lets see... If I wanted to learn spanish, I must pay $$ to take night classes at the local schools.... <br /><br />BUT!... "English, for non english speakers" is FREE!....<br /><br />I best quit right here...... :mad:

Well said in some respects, but people here must not forget what our country stands for. America is and has always been the promised land for many. Don't remember exactly what it says on the statue of liberty but we welcome all??<br /><br />It should not be law that we teach in 2 languages, offer all services in 2 languages and so on.<br /><br />By the way, my grandmother was German speeking, and her parents did not speek english at all. When my mothers grandparents were small children they came to this country, settled a homestead and made a family farm/ranch that supported many generations. So in these words they took some white err american uhmm well english speeking persons land that the government gave for free? What separates them from the mexican nationals that come here and take on the jobs that white men and women are too good for? <br /><br />Either you live in an area that is different from the rest of the nation, your sadly mis-informed, or I live in an area that is not like any other. We have a huge hispanic population. Some are lazy porch sitters, most are not. There are more whites that sit around complaining about who owes them. The mexicans I know are factory workers, packing plant workers, and farm workers taking on jobs the white men and women in this area will not stoop so low as to do. They have a strong work ethic, and a very strong committemnt to family. <br /><br />We should not be forced to similate to their lifestyle, but we should not become so closed and afraid that we breed hatred. Otherwise we should take the white sheets back off of the beds if you get my point.<br /><br />Don't take me wrong here. I get your point your making. The schools by law have to teach children as ESL (english as second language). The local stores give all announcements in spanish first then english, the government has to give all forms in both languages, and all of the other B.S. our nation is going through for them.<br /><br />If you ever get a chance, get to know some of the mexican nationals that work. Not the gang bangers that soak the country, but the decent workers. I guarantee without trying to be argumentative with you, you will learn a lot! I used to complian about the population, now that I know a few I changed my tune. There are the few bad apples, but there are also good ones.

OK all, I must say that was a cut& paste.I didnt write it.BUT, I do agree with it. it is wat we are all about ,, to be freeeee,,its just today there lots of ppl who want only to tear it all down and they are here illegaly,, i believe we should only 2 kinds of ppl in america ,,, americans and tourist ,, anything else should be up for debate

JB you ans DD missed the whole point of his orignal post. He did not say a thing about all Hispanics being that way he simple said go and see if you can do that and get away with it.<br /><br /> DD my mother was part german and part indian to but you working in lawenforcemewnt should be able to tell the difference between the desireables and the undesireables.<br /><br />I work the streets six days and nights a week and I see about ninty percent of them working and then going out and beating their wives and girl friends because they consider them their property.<br /> They drive with out licenses and insurance.<br />The local helth dept is loaded down with them and the hospitals are full of them and all of it comming out of the tax payers pocket.<br />I have got a long list of s---- that is wrong with them being here but it would fall on deaf ears but for a few that has seen it up front.
