Re: BBQ recipe, with pics!
Ok fine, well, everyone makes the BBQ sauce to their liking, or you can start with a pre-made BBQ sauce (I ain't giving up my recipe, waiting for the patent
). Dice two jalapenos, save seeds and all, combine with the sauce, add cayenne pepper, don't be shy with it, I put some brown sugar in there as well, and for that extra kick, about a shot of tequila (Patron's my choice). Oh, this should be in about 12 ounces of sauce. Heat this on the stove or microwave for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to ensure equal taste throughout.
Now for the ribs, you want to marinate them preferably overnight in mojo criollo / water, 75 / 25 respectively, and add Adobo, seasoned salt, and pepper. Broil (covered) in the oven for about an hour on 200, flipping throughout the process. Now they are ready for the grill, let them cook for about 20 minutes, flip them and cover top side with sauce, repeat this process until they are done to your liking. I may have left a couple small details out, as I'm not in the kitchen looking at my spices, if so, I will be happy to update.
Now, the only downside to these ribs is, man you pay for those jalapenos later that night!!
But it's worth it. .
That's great and all to hear what a fantastic bbq chef you are, but this thread is about bbq RECIPES. So give it up! Here, I'll get you started:
