Bracket mounted vs transom mount.

Outboards...... I was wondering if boats with outboards on a bracket handled any different then the traditional transom mounted motors?

I think Bondo mean: the main engine or a kicker, because both can be on a bracket?

The main engine..... Kind of like a sea drive type mount.

Don't think so - buddy of mine had one - rode just fine. The nice thing about the bracket was the extra room it gave in the boat.

Ayuh,... on a 12' tinny, or a 32' off-shore cruiser,..??

It Depends,..... on the Hull,....

Some benefit from the added set-back,....
