Re: Calling Experts, Hull damage/repair (PHOTOS)
Let me stipulate by saying, I know I don't have a dog in this hunt, nor would i ever be mistaken for a person to ask for advice in this arena. I'm just trying to learn as I go here, and this thread is peaking my interest. So, having said all that (I'm a tad long winded, too), it seems to me like the "repair" is going to be gelcoat related, and will just require taking out the bad and putting in the good, as it pertains to the gelcoat.....right? And lastly, since I've seen so many debates about 'pour-in-foam' and since you hinted towards foam earlier, is there any chance that foam could've contributed to this problem. Seems like that size of a boat would've had to take a very significant 'fall', as has been suggested, and that there would be evidence in other places than these, if that did in fact occur.
Just curious and if I'm distracting from the subject at hand, then please ignore me (my wife does daily so I'm very used to it)
