Anyone have the part number to a HF gun with a 3.5 tip ? All I see is 1.8 and 2.0. By the way ONDARVR YD and OPPS thanks for sharing with us newbies. I have an old sidewinder thats begging for a fresh flake job.

Ive never seen an HF gun that has a 3.5 tip..That would be kinda big to Market for paint jobs lol ;) .

That doesnt mean they dont have them..Ive just never seen them. You could try there online catalog.

What would be a good tip for spraying polyflake mixed in gel with a pressure pot type setup? Should one change the tip when top coating with the clear gel?

I dont know anything about polyflake in gel..

I would think that yes you need to change the tip/nozzle and aircap when coating with the clear gel..

Ok what about a .015 flake what would be a starting size for a tip

Thanks to all you guys helping with this thread--I have taken a slightly different approach and it would take up a full page to describe the method i going to use to make the repairs.

I will however post photos when job is complete---
