It should.<br /><br />Attach a digital voltmeter to the battery.<br /><br />Before starting it should be around 12.5v then as the RPMs increase it should, rise to 13.8 or more, after prolonged use.<br /><br />This, if opperable is just enough "juice" to keep the battery charged enough for starting and maybe running a light or small standby electronics. Like your VHF or fishfinder, but not enough to recharge the trolling battery or run a microwave.
