Bubba, I'm with you on this one, the trucks now are mostly too fancy and way expensive. Ford does make a commercial work truck, black plastic grill, white, cloth seats, but it's still near $30K. Spend a little money on yours and drive it another year or two! I ran my 1979 Olds 98 for 25 years, 347,000 miles, finally sold it for $800, mechanically it was fine, otherwise pretty well used up! God, my wife was glad to see that rag go!...

Hopefully you keep the cup-holders filled so you can bribe one of the Dodge guys to pull you home - the newer Toyotas haven't been impressing many people with their mechanical reliability. They do have nice interiors to sit in while you're waiting though!

I like mine so far... 19K and 1 warranty claim (lug nuts had some surface rust). The Gen III Tundra is suppose to come out in 2014... but I may get a 411 horse F-150...I can't decide, I like to go fast...;)

got a deal on the bronco, bought it from my friend. as for parts, many parts interchange with the ranger. ill see if i have any pics. as for parts, the portland area has a good supply so far, and a lot of parts can interchange between years

I gave away two V6 Bronco II 4X4 5 speeds, both had cracked heads and no other issues, they drove OK, but under powered and not worth sticking money into.

It doesn't pay to buy old used trucks for work vehicles, just too much down time when things go wrong, even its normal minor issues.

You can purchase basic Ford WT's for around 15,000 to 18,000 and sometimes less, the last one I bought new was 12,900. Crank windows, V6, 5 speed, AM FM radio (no CD) long bed, heavy duty suspension, cloth, regular cab.

It was the the truck in the add to bring people in the door. It was actually a little difficult to buy because they just kept trying to upgrade me to something costing more and I just kept saying this is the truck I want.

mine is on its 3rd motor, other two wore out, lots and lots of miles on it, as for underpowered, it will hit 75 down the freeway, granted it wont pull a 26 foot boat, put it does pull a lot. heck it towed my full sized truck about 20 miles back home after my motor siezed, down the freeway no less...

Yeah, I know. I looked at it too, but that's alot of money just for 120HP. Need rims first. I'm still riding on the steelies.

Yeah... I can ProCharge my boat cheaper than putting one on my truck.

I drove a 2010 GMC truck with roll up windows and plastic dash (rental work truck).

They are out there, you just need to find a new dealer.
