Are you SURE they are air bubbles and NOT variances in the color of the glass. Have you tried rolling on a light coat of resin over the top after it's cured and tacky?

No I am not sure they were small patches that were white. No I did not go over it didn't want to make it to resin covered.
I turned the heat up to 73 and will get to it today
Is 1% good ratio and how long should i mix my resin

I'd kick it up to 1.5%. Since you'll be laying 1708 over the top I wouldn't worry about applying a thin, don't need a lot, "cover coat" of resin to possibly fill any of those pesky "Bubbles" It might just be some "Resin Starved" areas needing to be filled with resin doncha know!!!;)

Uhmmm, Let me say this...When you consider the fact that the boys at the factory come in hung over on Monday and are in a Hurry to go Home on Friday, then Tues, Wed and Thurs are the "Good Days" That would be a Wed Transom!!! Me Thinks Thou dost protest to Much!!! Remember the CSM is a Binder to keep the resin from cracking open so it provides water proofing for the wood. You will be applying additional layers or resin and cloth as well as PB Over the top of this sooo, it will take care of any inconsistencies that may now exist. As long as there's no Major bubles or areas where the mat has lifted, and I don't see any of that, It will be fine, and I'm totally sure it was fine before but...you're learning as we all have to do. The Old Man at the Marina that first taught me to lay glass back in the 60's always said "Kid, just make it so you're proud to put your name on it, and...it don't come back thru the door!!!!":D

I'd put my name on the transom in that pic!!!!:joyous:

Nice work, especially with all those contours along the bottom edge. Very nice!

Nothing like that feeling of realizing you have to pull out the grinder ONE MORE TIME.... ugh.

Hopefully, you can give your grinder a good long rest...

Better late than never...
But I have to completely agree with woody...
That there looks like some fine glassing...
Keep in mind, when originally built, most of these tubs were literally slapped together as down and dirty as they thought they could get away with...and even as miserable a job as they did...most of these old boats have actually held together for over 2-3 decades...
Sooooo, anything you do to improve upon the original "cough, cough" craftsmanship, harrumph...is going to be a bazillion times better...
I have mentioned in other places that small micro air bubbles are not going to be detrimental to a proper quality build...
Another phrase that I have learned and used often is..."perfection is the enemy of good enough!"
I know for a fact I have a couple of questionable spots that I have simply overlooked, throughout my build...on purpose...and I will still lay odds that my tub will far outlast most anything that was built back in the day, even if I were to neglect it, which after this much blood, sweat and tears, you can bet won't be neglected very much...
Keep up the great work and keep on learning, it becomes easier the more you do it...
