Qualifying is scheduled for 12:10 ET, if it dries up. I'm only about 60 mi. from 'Dega and with a 4+ in. forecast, They might get the race in by Tuesday.

That's crazy talk! Light snow all day and cold!

Good truck race. Shrubby was whining about lapped cars in his way keeping him from having his throttle wide open. He occasionally had to lift...... :Cry: Shortly thereafter, he was in the wall. Jeb had a good nite until 30 to go. Spun out and his splitter ended up pointing to the sky. That was it, no down force. Fun race to watch.....

Hopefully 'Dega can get 'er done this weekend....

I didn't think I missed a truck race. Last I looked they were off for a for weeks. BUT, I've been wrong more than a few times.

Aint goin' to be any racing here today, there will be a bunch of soggy drunks though.

I should take the video camera down to the state store and just sit in the parking lot and film today... state store opens at 9:00 am this morning instead of the regular 11:00 opening.

This rain mixed with the 7" of rain we got last month should make all of the camp grounds mud holes of epic proportions for lots of stuck camper/RVs and other shenanigans.

We have got some lately, but we are still many feet of rain below the average for the last 4 or 5 years! We will take whatever isnt needed elsewhere, I sure would like to go to a river or a lake but they are just puddles.

That's right! Didn't they say at one point they could dry out 'Dega/Daytona in about 1/2hr, supposedly?

I went to NASCAR.com and they have nothing about the weather.....

I don't know how the link will work for you guys, but I play with the animated radar map a lot. I can tell when things are going to get better/worse at the track pretty well.

I use Intellicast. It looks like it's not raining in downtown Birmingham. But the rain appears to be moving south to north. If it would only move a little east, the track would be in the clear for a while.

GA, since you live so close to the track I suppose you often attend the the spring/fall race?
