No...it doesn't. distributor has no idea if you have a load on the engine.finally got it....when I am checking the timing at 3200 this has to be under load
No..this is incorrect. He needs to see 30 at 3200 RPM.So if you set your timing light to 22 and shoot the timing mark while the engine is at 3200 rpm it should read 0.
Yea if he's using an advance timing light and he sets it to 22 the timing mark should be at 0 at 3200 rpm.
I purchased a Clymer aftermarket manual...no reference to total advance only initial...for the points distributor of course
