Re: Electric boats are coming of age ...

I'm not thinking of doing it wanted to know how angnus was doing it.

Theres a guy running cars with compressed air in europe.

Do i want to do that i don't know, would i like to have 50,000 psi in a tank on my boat i don't think so.

Natural gas have been powering farm equipment, and autos down south for 30 years, seen the machines myself.

But you have to start it with regular gas and switch over to natural gas, or propane.

Car needs just a tweaking for it to work.

I know what you mean angus. I work in the detention industry and the feds can be pretty touchy about pictures.

I'm a G-man. I am touchy about losing funding over premature disclosure. Admiral in-charge might frown upon that too! He was the head of Texas Maritime Academy and a big Dallas Cowboy fan. He already doesn't like all my New York Giants stuff all over my office and labs, or that the boat is named "Electric Blue" with NYG emblems all about. Gotta make sure this project goes smooth to keep the 2-star out of my lab.:D
