Re: FICHT Plug fouling
I have over 1,200 hrs. on my Ficht Ram 150 hp. 2001 MY.
With one re-gap at around 90 to 100hrs. I can go for another 100hrs. of use.
Things to check: Lower thermostat housing for blockage.
(this motor has 2 on top and only 1 lower on bottom)
Oil return check valves and nipples at base of each bank of cyl.at bottom of block. Yes,brass nipples have a check valve built in and are pressed into block.
(If oil does not return to top of motor it can cause fouling)
Fuel from vapor canister leaking into intake
(causes poor running at low speeds /rich mixture
Have you hooked up the diagnostic software and checked timing?
Hope this helps.
