Re: food

Well Jim, they have some really good sausage where we dine. Just a tad on the hot side and my mouth was all set for some. But.....I went with ham instead. Nice round portion that had been glazed and baked in the oven. *drool*

Sounds like a heart burn deluxe rwise but a tasty one at that. The chili, out of the can or homemade....or does it matter?

I got a lot of recipes from the forums here, all very good...the ones I've tried so far. That's the problem....so much food, so little time.

Wife in the kitchen now, long nite for us, making some of them big ol pinch biscuits and frying up some sausage to make a big iron skillet full of sausage gravy.
Strawberry jam on the side along with the cow butter.

Re: food

Yea Jim, they are homemade, you mix your batter up and then work it into a big pile and grab you a handfull and just squeeze out a bit into the pan, pinch bisquits.
And yes, they are great.

Notice the indentions in the top?
That is made by pressing your knukles into the tops of them, why?
I don't know, that's how my grandmother always did it.

I'll never forget about Loretta Lynn talking on TV years ago about making biscuits. When making the biscuits out of the ball of dough, she said that you just "choke 'em off".

Well I use home made chilli, but whatever you like. I tried bushes (in the bottle stuff) wasn't bad but I like mine hotter than that. I also think the cheap hot dogs taste better than the good ones, you know the hot dogs made from lips and a$$holesd:)
