Ok, here is a very dumb question.
I have this 1993 Force 40 hp with T&T. The motor is now in the bottom position. when I try to lift it, I can hear the pump running, but it moves only maybe 1 inch up. My first point of attack is to check the oil level and add if necessary. In manual it says that I need to trim it all the way up and then check the oil. Question is how can I get it up when it does not want to get up (please no Viagra answers
)?
I can manually lift it up, but it really resists it. So I was thinking about lifting it up and resting it on 2x4 or something, so i can add some oil to it.
PS. This is a new-to-me motor, and PO said T&T was working just needed some oil added to it.
