Re: Gay marriages

"Language has been an important weapon in the 'gay' movement's very swift advance. In the old days, there was 'sodomy': an act. In the late 19th century, the word 'homosexuality' was coined: a condition. A generation ago, the accepted term became 'gay': an identity. Each formulation raises the stakes: One can object to and even criminalize an act; one is obligated to be sympathetic toward a condition; but once it's a fully fledged 24/7 identity, like being Hispanic or Inuit, anything less than wholehearted acceptance gets you marked down as a bigot." --Mark Steyn

Once again, the will of the few overpowers the will of the many !

So far, the only thing the gay community has proven is that they are rich enough to buy whatever law they need to carry-on their IMORAL LIFESTYLE !

This is sickening!

I'm ready to puke!

Remember...

It's " Adam and Eve ", NOT Adam and Steve!

Re: Gay marriages

I challenge any of you to go and try to find an older gentleman who was for racial segregation. It seems like they all were “totally against it” because it was completely wrong. But it’s funny how at the time most white people thought it the right thing to do and supported it completely.

I bring this up because I think in 50 or so years, your going to be completely embarrassed about what you are saying on this board.

You don't have to go too far to find an older person that was for segregation. They are everywhere, they are set in their ways, and so am I dangit.

Gods says it is an abomination!! He destroyed two cities because of it! And He is the same yesterday today and forever! I really do not think that He has changed his mind and do not expect me to!

Does he Love them? Yes, but He loves them too much to leave them that way if they wish to repent and change there imoral lifestyle!

LubeDude

Homosexuallity will never be accepted by the majority because of the moral crimes against humanity that it promotes!

It's time to start locking all closet doors!!

Re: Gay marriages

these are just my beliefs and I'm just a young punk so you shouldn't realy care what I say anyways ;)

I just hope my little brother doesn't grow up thinking the same way you do. I would rather have him be completely color blind and not care whether a person is straight, bisexual, or gay.

I know most of you will never change your beliefs, and that's fine with me. I just hope you try to spread your word in a civilized way (like on this board) :D Rather than the lady I heard on the radio today that held a sign at matthew shepards funeral saying "matthew have fun rotting in hell" (For those of you that don't know matthew was beaten to death because he was gay) :(

Re: Gay marriages

Andy,

This is what I tried explaining to Chads (God Bless you Chads :) ) There are KKK members who claim to know the bible and love God, therefore use God and the bible to justify thier hatred. Any one who knows the Word knows that the Jews are the apple of Gods eye, and God blesses those who bless the jews and curses those who curse the Jews. I'm using this as an analogy ok? Now lets switch to subject of gays. God didn't destroy Soddam and Gammorah (sp?) because the inhabitants were gay; he destroyed them because they raised up thier sin flew it in the face of God. Disregarding what God said about these acts being acts of sin, they were unrepentant and delighted themselves in sin rather than in God (God blesses those who delight themselves in Him) This is the problem with Gays co-opting the sanctity of union of marriage, which is a vow to God, not the person you're marrying. (IE "We are gathered here befoe God.") The same with Gay bishops and priests. If you were a drug addicted murderer who went to prison, got straight and repented for your sins and them wished to lead a congregation in teaching God's word, that is one thing. But to be unrepentant in ones sin, or to say that God was behind the times, wrong and unenlightened when he said this behavior was sinful, and in sodoing be in process of highjacking a segment of Christianity, that is where Christians who know and try to live by the Word are going react, hopefully in a Christian manner.

It is not about hating gays. I have gay friends. I used to live with gays in house in which I rented a room. I am close to many gays and have ministered to them all. I love them as my fellow brothers and sisters; but just as I won't force my Christian beliefs on them, I won't have them forceing their lifestyle on me, my family, or my Savior's church.

just my .02 :)
