Hmmmm, I'm thinking the translator is a little "off". The issue is water pump related, I think. So, now that I've done all the hard work foodfisher, you take it from there.

Yes emoney - the subject appears to be water pump related. I would guess that "walking" translates into "working", and maybe the honking horn is the overheat alarm. Aside from that, I too am lost.

I think the following will also be doing a mixture of gasoline and the oil was missing me about 100ml of oil to the mixture can not be done well.
The water pump is working well, the mechanic tomorrow go the boat, and then I'll also see what he says!

I have a doubt, where the engine pisses is pointed in the picture or where it is elsewhere?

Profile,location??

Never saw a jet pump on a Force???
How about some pics of the whole unit.
Who made it and where??

The arrow, ports are for excess water if the spring and plunger is working(pressure relief).
You don't have a tell tale on that motor unless someones put one on it.

The impeller/water pump is probably above the orange pump on the drive shaft.

To check for over heat.
You can touch the head while it's running and not burn yourself.
It will be hot but not so bad it will burn.

473.18 ml to 22.71 ltr I think this is right but I use the US weights and measures.6gal to 16 oz oil.

I am from Portugal.
The photograph was one that I downloaded from the internet.
The motor warms up and connects a horn of the pump can be water or a mixture of oil with petrol.
I doubt that's where the **** out of the water pump is where s? pointed image or not.
Thanks for your help and understanding.

Re: Help engine force 85Hp

That's not your motor?

http://rapidshare.com/files/453372553/Force_Outboards_1984-99.pdf This is an online manual for your motor.

The horn warns of overheat,
No warning for low oil.
You need to mix the oil and gas in the tank before you run the motor.

The image is not a **** point.
It's an excess water pressure relief port.
It will pump water out unless adding the jet pump changed the exhaust.

You have to add a tell tale to the motor.

If it doesn't run good??
Do a compression and spark test.See manual.
Running it hot will HURT it.

Thanks for the link.
My motor is equal to this but as I had no picture of him, so I downloaded a photo.
I was watching a video on Youtube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6kx-hYl3ijE) and me the impression that the pee is the bottom of the exhaust outlet so that I can see in the video.
I only see water coming out of those two outings that I pointed out in the photo do not see any more water for side.

To sound the horn can only be 3 situations I think:
1 - It's not about quantity of oil with gasoline, because the engine was missing when supply me about 100ml to complete the mix. (Peopl sorry but if one uses this measure in Portugal I think the USA matches 0.0264gallons).
2 - The water pump be faulty!
3 - The thermostat be faulty!

The engine was always working, going for a ride by boat and tried to pull a buoy in acelarei max and honked the horn is not walking slowly honks the horn and it does not heat if I walk 1 minute at max speed speed honks the horn .

Thank you for helping jerryjerry05 for me is not very easy to express what happened to the engine through a translator.

Re: Help engine force 85Hp

yesterday the mechanic was to analyze the engine and what goes with it is the thermostat. Do you know if the thermostat gives to repair or have to be new?
Thanks for helping

Re: Help engine force 85Hp

No repair.
If you can't find one it can be ran without it.
It's not a good idea but can be done for a short time.

I believe that, yes that's the one. Did the mechanic mention if You also need to replace the "Impeller" in the lower unit? It's a common maintenance item usually replaced every 2 years on fresh water motors or annually in salt water.

Re: Help engine force 85Hp

If it were me, if nothing else I'd pull the lower unit and have a look at it. Anytime a motor overheats, the entire system should at least be inspected.

Re: Help engine force 85Hp

That's kinda what I gathered out of that. Funny how the translator keeps saying "walking". I'm assuming that's in place of "running", but it seems like it would translate that way.

You know, I have a lot respect for someone who doesn't speak English to go to such lengths in trying to solve a problem. I barely speak my native language correctly and couldn't imagine what I'd do if I needed help in say "Russian" or "Japanese" or ?
