after last nights game in calgary i heard they were thinking of changing the name of the "red Mile" to the "dead mile" i would imagine a rather dismal day in calgary today

Well Ottawa took a dive,just 18 seconds into overtime and Buffalo scores on a little wrist shot I'm sure my dead grandmother could have saved

I went to the first game of last season when they were presented with the rings and the calder cup......it was sweet. I was 2 rows from the glass. I got a puck at a game a few years back.

I hope the Av's don't embarrass themselves again today. Friday's 5-0 loss was hard to watch, & definitely out of character. Maybe the result of a prolonged layoff? They talk about the advantage of winning a series early, & having time off to mend while waiting for the next opponent to be determined. That seems to backfire as often as not!<br /> <br />Somehow, I kinda think today's game will be a bit more interesting!.<br /> <br />GO AV'S!!!

I was there too! Really sweet. They look really good this year too. I was at Saturday's game when they beat Houson 7-zip! They're up 3 games to 0 now and have out scored Houston 19-8 so far.

Well them sharks are looking really solid right now. How well Toskala plays will go a long way to determining their future and if Thornton can get on a roll they will be a tough team for anyone. <br /><br />Mercr, I feel your pain, honestly I'ld like to poke some fun at ya but with the dead wings already done I can't. I say we all root for Jersey so hopefully we can get back to where our teams ruled the west. Alas, the new NHL may have stolen my Red Wing Stanley Cup dreams for a few years. But don't give up the Avs just yet they looked much stronger last night.

I figger the Avs might pull one out tonight, bein'as how the quackers would prolly rather "take it" on home ice. The Ducks just look so much stronger - cleaner passing, better positioning. <br /> <br />Maybe I'll dust off my lucky #21 hat (Forsberg)

Ottawa chocked so bad a migget team would've beat them,if you saw the losing goal you know what I mean.Last chance for a Canadian team is Edmonton,they are fairing pretty well with the Sharks
