Sit down for a family dinner every night. Just wondering. We always have, my wife has dinner ready at the same time every weeknight and the family sits down to eat together. I think its a good time to communicate with the other family members. Weather it be a gripe or just small talk. We have had some real barn burnners at the supper table. My son has moved out but still shows for dinner when he is in the area, it's always a treat when he shows. I always valued that time with them. I give the wife credit as she has a career that keeps her working every day, but she stills manages to cook a nice meal for us, sometimes I have to do it and the conversation usally turns in to a talk about my inept cooking skills.
. Seems a lot of folks have gotten away from the family dinner, with all the hectic work schedules and all. I hope to pass this tradition on to my kids. I think its healthy for the family in more ways that one.
