Been fishing for 25 yrs now, and have had many loves in my life,but one thing stands the same.When it comes time to take the boat out there always jealous feelings in there hearts.I ask them to go but they are scared of the water and i get the shakes if i cant go to the lake at least once a month.I start thinking about it on my monday and plan it out till the boat hits the water.Dont get me wrong,i love the women in my life, but whats the deal? why do we have to plan an attack on the lake each time!! right guys?Am i alone or does other people feel this?

Actually, mine's pretty cool about it, and will encourage me to go. Just asks that I let her know where I put in. I think maybe that's so she can point 'em in a direction to recover my body

Have not had time this year; boat hasn't been any further than the driveway And right now, it's too blinkin' hot to bother... Maybe in the fall.

It's the worst for me in the fall when bowhunting comes around. Good thing is I don't get phone service where I hunt so I don't have to here about it from my gal until I come home!

Threads like this remind me of how lucky I am/was. LOML never whined about it. I taught her to fish and took her along. I chose places to fish so she could catch some, too.

Later, in my single life, I only invested time in women who wanted to go fishing.

I don't plan anything. If the fish are biting, I tell her I'm going fishing on such and such a day and that's the end of the story.

What's the worst that can happen? She doesn't talk to you for a day or two?

I always secretly thought my wife didn't want me to get a fishing boat because I would be fishing too much,not because, "WE can't afford it",her reason for years.When I finally talked her into it I was very suprised that she actually likes for me to go when I can,not often enough!,and she sometimes tells me to go when she see's I'm stressed out about job,family,life's problems etc.

I do ninety percent of the cooking and 80 percent of the cleaning at the Coop house and take the admiral and admiral jr. with me any time they want to go. Yard passes are easy to come by here.

Shortly after getting married (she knew I was a fish-a'haulic before hand) she complained that I was going fishing too much. I told her that I could be doing other things, like; drinking, drugs, gambling or hookers..... I haven't received a complaint since.

Later, in my single life, I only invested time in women who wanted to go fishing.

Women will do all sorts of crazy things before getting married,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, like going fishing.

Simple answer to your issue,

Get her a boyfriend
