my other bass boat is a venture----it has a pad under the transom..........it drops 3" or so and the motor sets back 3" or so
my current bass boat (the one with the motor--bassmaster) -------------has a pad under the transom that drops 4" or so and has about 6" of set back.
the anti-ventilation plate is approx 1-2" above the keel on the bassmaster.
in the venture i could trim the motor and lift the bow so that only about 2-3' of the boat was in the water-----splash well behind the driver seat.
in the bassmaster i cant lift the bow and the splash looks like it is coming from the front-------looks like its not even 3-4' from the bow.
is this hull design or do i need to get the motor a lil deeper?
