Put pump back togethe,r took boat out, it ran great, trim responded better than expected. I got it up to 39 mph, whereas before it would only do 36. The briggs carb kit seems to have fixed the issue but I dont think the pressure relief valves will be tested much until I pull a tube. I gunned it in reverse several times to see if the LU would climb out of the water but it did not. I was worried about blowing out a seal somewhere but its holding for now. Has anyone else ever accidentally messed with pressure relief valves and then set them by counting turns and had success?
