Just read through nine pages of postings about Iboats rank and various other topics......I think I get it now.

I better get Internet at the slip if I want to move up in the ranks; one hand on the wheel and the other on the keyboard but for now I'll stay a cadet in training, keep cleaning the head and looking forward to re-runs of The Deadliest Catch. ​

You can make more posts,

I saw a commercial like that on TV; "Get you PhD in two weeks" just pay shipping and handling. I guess there's more than one way to crack a nut.

Given the entertainment value of this thread (high) and the fact that I am also looking to move up from the steerage compartment, I will also post a reply to this discussion if only to get another credit as a cadet. One can't be to choosey and I am hoping there isn't any Harbor Patrol-types who will revoke my post (credit), is there?

Easy Capt I'm in it for the conversation not the rank, just want to read what others have to say about the way the rank system works. I read about the padding thing earlier sounds like it can get out of hand.

JB has been in since Mar 2001. That's 100 months @ an average 352.81 posts per month. Now that's a lot of posting.
