Here is the report -- and link to pics -- on the Antique Boat Meet. I didn't get there but it looks pretty interesting. Be patient, there is some glass.
"Eight vintage boats with vintage motors entered the Fort Loudon locks and had the experience of dropping 72'. We then entered Watts Bar Lake for a short cruise and then back into the locks and a lift back up to Fort Loudon Lake. We traveled up Tellico Lake to Tanasi Restaurant for a nice lunch.
Despite threatening weather forecast there was a very good turnout for the meet at Louisville Point Park. Lots of old outboards on display or for sale. The usual great turnout of Feather Crafts, I think the count was 17, but it may have been higher. Here is a link to some photos courtesy of Larry Forget from Soddy Daisy.
