I'm redoing a 1962 Boston Whaler Nauset. The engine is a 1985 90 HP Evinrude. I'm unsure of which wires go to which terminals on the ignition. The following is what I have and where I'm at.

The old ignition switch has 6 terminals, C,A,M,B,M,S Not all of the wires are on the terminals so I can't use it for reference.

The new one also has 6 terminals, C, A/S,M,B,M,I from Surplus Marine Supply, supposed to be the correct model for push to choke Evinrude.

Does it make sense that one terminal is marked A & S or am I somehow reading it wrong?....I don't think so. I'm guessing that I is Ignition but what wires go there? Do the wires from the instrument terminals marked Ign. go there or do they go to the A?

So far I have Red with Purple stripe to B
Purple with white stripe to C
Black with yellow stripe to one of the M, not the vertical one.
Yellow with red stripe on what appears to be A/S. I know that wire goes to A, but as I said it appears to be A/S.

I have 4 wires left gray, brown or tan, purple, black. I'm thinking gray is for the tach and purple is maybe volts and brown might be temp? Anyway do you have any idea where those 4 wires go and what about that A/S terminal and the I terminal?
Thanks very much!
