What I do with major purchase decisions:<br /><br />Buy one large dollar item at a time (Whichever you think you need) Pay it off as fast as you can. When paid, buy the next item on the list. Repeat the proceedure.<br /><br />As long as there are items on your list, have one payment. It won't affect the budget, as you are used to it.
