Re: Info on Auto Trimtab Control From Bennett
One of my current boat projects is to install the Bennett Auto Trim Control and Auto Trim Retractor on my boat which has Boat Leveler Insta-trim tabs.

For the Auto Trim Retractor (ATR) it's a simple "box" which has 6 wires. The wires go to: a switched 12 volt source such as ignition switch, ground, a 12 volt 20 amp power source (such as the existing trim tab fuse) and the remaining 3 wires go to existing trim tab wiring harness.

For the Auto Trim control (ATC), it's a little more involved but still quite easy to connect. The ATC consists of a control panel, attitude sensor module, central processing unit (CPU) and an ATC module. The ATC and CPU modules connect together and require 2 different power sources just like the auto trim retractor does. The control panel has a 6' cable attached which connects into the ATC module. The other 4 wires connect into the existing trim tab wiring harness. The attitude sensor has a longer cable (maybe 20') which plugs into the CPU module.

How does it perform?????? I don't know since I have not completed the installation yet. Give me a couple of weeks and I'll let you know.
