It's always nice to have as much advice as possible from all you experienced boaters. I hit Walmart this afternoon thinking I could find some grease for the prop shaft. Although they had small tubes of marine grease it looked like it was more for trailer bearings than anything else.<br /><br />The Merc owners manual calls for anti-corrosion grease, or special lubricant 101, or 2-4-C with Teflon. I'm sure I can find one of those at the boat dealership.<br /><br />I also went to the bookstore (Barnes & Noble) thinking I'd be able to find a SELEC or Clymer manual. They didn't have either one.
