Do use the library or whatever other options you can find even if it's just to say "HI!" every so often... 12'er, I respect your choice in this matter and have 3 daughters myself, know what you are saying.<br /><br />It is a big burden to bear, but I am sure you have big shoulders to carry it on.<br /><br />You and your family will be in the SBN's families thoughts.<br /><br />On the isp thing, if you have a pretty big truck stop around you, they offer internet access also for nothing if you happen to have a laptop, you can just go in and plug in.<br /><br />Keep your head held high and always remember you have a bunch of friends here. :)

It was sad to call the truck back, but we can understand your decesion. :D <br /><br />I hope your police can do justice to that lowlife wifebeater. My wife still carries scares from mental and physical abuse from her first marriage. She now needs a hip replacement due to a broken leg that wasn't set properly when she was beaten 28 years ago. And that is just one of the injuries she suffered. I think that lowlife ex should foot the medical bills due to his actions, but the guy is a lowlife nontaxpaying liar and cheat. He has nothing to take. (I would like to cut off the suckers pony tail :D )<br /><br />Your position is a very tough one my friend. Even though the lowlife is no good in your eyes, your daughter will have feelings for him still. Just help support her and be there for her. Threating to do something to him will sometimes make it rougher on her. It can create mental anguish toward you for wanting to hurt a person that she cared and loved at one time. She is saying it is over, but in the next sentence, saying "someday, when you can proove you have gotten help, maybee you can see our child". And when I told her there was virtually no chance of himn survivind such a meeting, her tone changed, being allmost protective...Allmost.

Nobody should have to go through what you, your wife and your daughter are going through. As a father myself, I understand your feelings completely. .........Hang in there, things will work out.<br />We absolutely cannot lose one of our Admirals, because our ship will sink. :D <br /><br />My family will be adding your family to our prayers tonight, I promise,......... and as you can see, we are all here for you. :) <br /><br />And let me finish by saying,.....from a measly little Captain to an Admiral........I salute you!

12 Footer. I have only been on for about a month basiclly because I just took on a project boat and it was refreshing to find a site that delt with boating and fising. I have read some of your posts and the wisdom in them will not be forgotten. I have family currently going through something similar and just waiting for the sun to set on a bad day can seem to take a month.<br /><br />Know this though, Myself and the misses will keep you in our prayers and will light a candle for you at church sunday.<br /><br />God bless.
