I can't get my throttle linkage in sync. It seems that the spark advance does not return to the slow/idle/start position when I pull the throttle back to neutral when I crank the engine the engines "revs" wide open so I have to kill the engine. I have tried adjusting the throttle cable and the shift cable, I have the throttle cable screwed in as far as it will go in an attempt to pull the throttle arm back so the spark advance will stay in slow speed. I have adjusted the cam lever where the carburetor rides the cam . the cam is in start position and the carb rider wheel is barely touching the cam, but there is still a lot of movement in the spark advance lever. I place a spring on the lower end of lower end of the throttle advance lever where the throttle cable connects and stretched it to the b carb cover in an effort to hole the lever forward as far as possible to take out any movement in the spark advance lever. this kind of works but it makes it really hard to move throttle forward at the control box. I am sure I am missing something any help would be appreciated .
