I seem to have had a run of bad luck with Batteries lately. First accidentily drained my boat battery and now my truck battery went dead.
As the story Goes. We were at the Boat ramp preping for launch. During this time I have the Truck not running. Went to Start the Truck and nothing. Someone tried to Jump start me but the battery was too dead.
So I pulled a Marine battery out of the boat and used it to start the Truck. I have two marine batteries. Truck started fine and we had a great day of boating.
I'm still using the Marine battery and will purchase a truck replacement battery today. So my question is. Am I causing any damage to my Marine battery using it in my truck for a couple of days? Its a Marine Starter battery if that makes any difference.
What is the difference between a Marine Starter battery and an Auto Battery in simple terms?
Thanks.
