Re: Military Strategy

My reaction was addressed to PW2 as again, I believe he was making a personal statement about me. The name calling was limited to how I feel specifically about a reluctance to identify evil. It seems that you too would fall into that camp. But I am unclear, so I will save your personal rant for a later date

Also, please reread the words immediately preceding the individual naming of "real-live Dr. Evils". I specifically named some evil actions and the source(s) of my definition. And, although your questions are rhetorical I will answer each one specifically and especially civilly.

If I bomb a village full of evil people and innocent people are killed, does that make me evil?

No.

If I invade a country because I fear them and my independence, does that make me evil?

Your question is not specific enough. Please define the source of our "fear" and "them". Absent that information I will have to go with maybe.

If I do not believe in democracy, does that make me evil?

Of course not. It is actions that define evil, not beliefs. I can believe that I am being instructed to kill an innocent person, but I am not evil unless I do it.

If I have a nuclear weapon, does that make me evil?

No.

If I kill people that are evil, does that make me evil.

No, it makes you a hero.

If I follow different religious beliefs, does that make me evil?

No.

I reread your post QC and am still not clear can you address these questions in a civil manner?

Yes.

I will add that I continue to be amazed at the reaction the use of the word "Evil" provokes. I will begin to use "really bad stuff" if that will make some of you feel better . . .
