Re: Minn Kota designations
My catalog does not cover motors that old but an MPK-3 was a translucent prop called a Vanishing Prop. Is that what you had? If not, then you really need to get the complete model number off the motor. Should be listed on the same label as the serial number. If you don't have that, then you need to measure the diameter (not the circumference) of the motor. That will help as my catalog shows motor diameters from about 2002 on up.
The Model 565 N and T take an MKP-2. The Model 565 T and TA take an MKP-6. My charts don't show the other codes. Cabela's and Bass Pro don't even show the MKP-3 any longer. But I'm wondering if the MKP-32 and MKP-33 are not replacements for the older motors.
