Yes i ws talking about the motor,i,ll do that,on the cowl the air goes in on top and at the back and then is channeled down to the bottom of the motor,seems it has to go around the motor to get to the carbs,would'nt this actually heat the air up more before entering the carbs?seems if i get air to the front of the motor sooner it would help,but i dont want to run to lean or stick a piston.
