A true labor of love. It's my oldest motor and was such fun to restore. Completely disassembled, cylinder honed, everything polished plus a lot of detail work. Had to cut a hole in the gas tank to straighten it out from the inside then welded the cut out piece back in. Had to hand make the starting handle out of an oak dowel. Has good spark and good compression so no doubt it will run although I don't put gas in my restored motors. Gums em up. I like to keep them as new, oil the cylinders periodically and turn them over.
This is my third completed resto since July of last year. This one took the longest due to all the detail work. Plus I had to track down one carb top adjustment screw which took awhile. (Thanks Doug Penn)
I'm very proud of how it turned out.
