You just got the Bayliner, right? And there's no major problems right now, correct? Run it bro. Enjoy, have fun. Don't worry about it. Take care of it, have a good time. If stuff breaks ... look for parts and fix it. On the social ladder you're a little down on the list for owning an OMC ... but hey, at least it's not a '72 Electric Shift OMC Stringer, those guys are real dorks
Seriously, the drive is old and the company is outta' business. Parts are getting tougher to get hold of, but not bad at all yet. If you like what you have, run it and don't worry about it. Plenty of advice on here to keep you floatin'.
If you don't like it ... then you can start lookin' for something else.
