I spent the night in one of our local hospitals last night, for reasons I'd rather not discuss.

The point is that I came out more injured than when I went in. At about 1am I was quite ill and blacked out. The next thing I remember is my foot in pain, my forehead hurting and a sensation of 'hard and cold', the floor and about 20 people standing around me. I'm also sporting a nice shiner around my left eye where my glasses smashed into it when I hit the deck. Falling from a hospital bed onto their hard floor is not something I would recommend.

Anyway, they kept me in longer because of the 'head injury' and I'm on the road to recovery. I'll not be so stupid again:eek::eek::eek:

Just what was the "stupid" thing, Chris?

Doesn't sound to me like you made any stupid decisions, just dealt with that stuff that happens.

Glad you are through it. :)

What? I thought they always put up the bed rails on the side so this doesn't happen? anytime I've been in there that's what I found,,, Sorry to hear you got more hurt by being there, just another reason I don't like hospitals
