what about the preasure, when you pump air is ok, but is there any reverse valve to stop air to go back when you relase conector from air compressor or air pump?

Yes the schrader valve stops the air from flowing out just like a inflated tire. to release the pressure just push on the schrader stem.

That's great!! What are the threads (size and tpi) for evinrude lower units. I will make one of these but, I've never paid attention to the threads on the lower unit fill screws.

The tester looks great and the price is right but what are you testing? Maybe I need another cup of coffee.

Its to test a lower unit for water leaks. If air gets out, water will get in. I just don't know the thread sizes for the lower unit plugs.

the above tester bolt I used was 3/8 nc 16 tpi you can use a wrap or 3 of teflon tape if it seems a bit loose. I used a extra thick o-ring as well, the gauge was off of a old discarded air compressor. kodibass

Start out with 6-8 psi and let it sit for 10 minutes and then go to 14-16 psi and again let sit for 10 minutes. If there is a drop put in a tub of water to find the leak. Soapy water also works good.
