CAUSE NOBODY SHOULD HAVE THAT MUCH MONEY.. that's alotta boat & a lotta 'DOIN''..!! <br /><br />is she done yet ?? or a work in progress ..<br /><br />do you wear a uniform & hat when you pilot her..???

Quite an accomplishment...I know you are proud of it.<br />Mine is to be a way of life for me...I get on the water and don't want to go home...so it will be my home. Not as artistic as yours...just functional.

gee ,CAPT BOB.. thanks for the kind words.. yes i am pretty proud of my little skiff.. like i said before,, there's not much like spendin' the day on your own hand-built boat..<br />but 'not as artisic as mine'.. i beg to differ.. that's a handsome rig of yours for sure.. & a lotta work too boot.<br />you got that right,, 'a-way-of-life..!!<br /><br />you say you get out on the water & you don't want to come home.. HECK THAT SHOULD BE YOUR HOME.. at least home away from home..<br /><br />i was goin' to start on another boat this summer .. but i was outta work for many many months followin' 9/11.. & the economy sucks.. i had to hunker down...<br />i shoulda started it tho.. it's cheap to start but it gets ya toward the end.. <br />i figure a 3 year project..<br /><br />but i got the plans an study them all the time .. i could build her in my sleep.. maybe next year..<br /><br />anyone interested in see the boat i'm GONNA build .. go to <br /> web page arch davis.com www. arch davis.com<br />it's the jiffy v-22 but look at the 'jiffy 22' for more pics .. it's the same boat exactly but it's a flat bottom..

pretty neat trawler.. but i don't really like the cramped/enclosed wheel house.. <br /><br />that's what i do/did, CAPT BOB..as you can see by my blunders...<br /><br />i'm gonna try again.. but i'm sure it'll nogo... wait-a-minute.. i'll be rite back arch davis
