1970's Glastron V163 Bayflite. Heres the story, transom was rotten, began to repair the transom and decided to go ahead and replace the stringers. All work is complete. Yesterday we put the cap back on the boat. Tight fit but it went back on. I now have one section on the starboard side where the gunwale is bowed in and a section on the port side that has 4 small bows inward. The bow on the starboard side was much bigger than the pic below. I managed to reduce the size by adding a furring strip to the wood that runs around the top of the hole, for the cap to screw into. My question is how to get these other bows out of the gunwale. Help me out guys I need to finish this boat this week. Plans for the lake this weekend coming. (4th)

I understand the gap in the bow. The new transom is just a bit wider than the original and that distance has caused this gap. The new transom is 1.5 inches wide. Any and all help is welcomed. Thanks in advance for your input.
