I have been pretty sick for a couple of months. Infections, strange symptoms like sunburn on my hand, pretty constant pain. Been on hydra codone, so my brain is functioning a little fuzzy, too. After the infected wound in my finger healed, the worst pain has been some sort of "thing" in my throat. Went to an urgent care clinic Sunday and my regular Doc Monday. Got shots and a bottle of penicillin and an appointment with a ENT guy today.
The ENT guy ran an endoscope through my nose into my throat to look at "something not normal". Then he shoved his finger down my throat and poked it. Nearly passed out from the pain.
Waiting for the Hospital to call to tell me when to come in for a biopsy and a MRI.
Anybody have any experience with "something not normal" in their throat?
