As for the something not normal in the throat, I will pass on a story about my grandma in her 91st year and when she had a "SMALL" tumour removed from her throat her saliva glands stopped working.
They should have left it alone, it was not being a discomfort to her and at that age if it is not life saving surgury do not do it in my opinion.

Yeah, since early December.
My GP had been treating a tyroid issue for about 9 months, and this feeling of something 'stuck in my throat' came up suddenly one day as I was driving. After whining to the GP for a couple visits I finally had the endo done without any positive conclusion. It's called Globus sensation. So that's what it is. I've had the same thing for months. Told my doctor about it on a routine checkup. He thought it was nothing, but could see I was still worried. So, he made me an appointment with a specialist. I ended up canceling it thinking it was due to stress. I guess it is. Stress? We wont even go there..........

Keeping the mind busy? Aint that the truth.........

Here's hopin' your throat issue turns out to be nothing serious JB.....:)

However, we all go through stuff that brings us down and/or slows us down....we are only human.

Hospital hasn't called with an appointment yet. I hope that is because they don't think it is likely to be serious.:redface:

Had a Marine DI snatch me by the throat in boot camp. It hurt to swallow for quite along time - many months. It finally went away. Good vibes, best wishes, and prayers your way! :)
