I am fighting Bladder Cancer. If it wasn't for the early detection I wouldn't be here.

Fixing up my Starcraft is my incentive to stay positive and keep fighting.

JB, have you been for an endoscopy/biopsy? Any history of GERD, Barrett's esophagus and/or esophageal cancer in the family?

At the very least, get your butt into the emergency room. My father in-law had blood in his urine. Turned out to be kidney cancer. Caught it right away and he's fine. Was about 6 years ago. Blood in urine doesn't always mean cancer, or that something is seriously wrong. Still need to get checked out to determine the cause.......

I'm big on early detection. I mean, what the heck. If they can catch something early and make an issue a non issue, it sounds like a win to me. I recently turned 50. Sometime within this year I'm going tell my doctor to break out that little camera and go explorin'.....

Did the MRI Thursday. Won't have reading on it for a few days.

It was an endoscopy that triggered the order for the MRI, but he hasn't done a biopsy yet.

Still waiting.
