This guy wanted a boat more than anything. His wife kept refusing, but he bought one anyway. "I'll tell you what," he told her. "In the spirit of compromise, why don't you name the boat?"

Being a good sport, she accepted.

When her husband went to the dock for his maiden voyage, this is the name he saw painted on the side: "For Sale."

LOL at Stan - either Mrs. Deezy is a remarkably good sport, your Stan is good at dodging flying pots and pans, kitchen knives, and such ...

Re: New Boat

A woman pulls up to a bank in Manhattan with her new Rolls Royce and says she needs a $5,000 loan for a 2-week trip to Europe. Loan officer says, "Sure ma'am, but we'll need some collateral", so she tosses him the keys.

Two weeks later she returns to pay off the loan, plus interest, which is $15.41. The loan officer says, "Ma'am, we appreciate your business but we wonder, why did you need a loan for $5,000 when you're so rich already?

She says, "where else could I park my car in Manhattan for 2 weeks for $15.41 and know it would be here when I got back?

errrrrrrrrrrr.....Launch, I know I may be missing a Kangaroo or two in the top paddoch, but I don't quite get that one.
If she repaid the loan in full, with the $'s she borrowed, on her return, and the only cost was the interest, then what did the actual car park fees cost her......and where did that money come from......

Cheers

I heard of a the same thing over in the uk but the guy parked his car on the street and had it towed. He went on holidays and when came back paid the fee. It was way cheeper to pay the fine than to pay for compound parking.
