I recently purchased a 1989 17' Bowrider with an OMC 2.3L I/O. It is a lightly used boat with a freshly rebuilt carb and I am tuning up the points, plugs, etc this weekend. I have noticed that it really pitches up and stays that way when I am driving alone. I have the tilt all the way down but it still struggles to plane. How can I check to see if there is water between the outer and inner layer skins weighing down the back and causing this imbalance? Thanks in advance.
